Biography
A Cistercian monk who was also a French troubaour and composer. He was depicted by Dante in The Inferno as being in the ninth "bolgia". Bertran composed approximately 40 poems one of which survives. The single work that is extant was written on behlaf of Geoffrey Plantagenet. ~ Keith Johnson
