Bex Burch

Bex Burch is a composer, percussionist, producer, and instrument maker from England. She founded Vula Viel, co-founded Boing! with Leafcutter John, and is a member of Flock alongside saxophonist Tamar Osborn, drummer/percussionist Sarathy Korwar, and others. In the creation of her almost otherworldly music, Burch employs percussion instruments and handmade xylophones. Her desire to embrace new musical challenges has led her to study in Africa and to perform and record collaborations with a dozen artists including Evelyn Glennie, Emanative, and Tony Buck.
