Big Jim Wynn

b. 21 June 1912, El Paso, Texas, USA, d. 1976, Los Angeles, California, USA. After moving to Los Angeles as a child, Wynn began his musical tuition on clarinet before switching to tenor sax and playing professionally with the band of Charlie Echols. In 1936, Wynn had his own band and began to link up with T-Bone Walker; this association would last until the end of the famous blues musician's life, with the Wynn band regularly touring and recording with him.
