His initial sessions were with Harry Mudie, when he cut ‘Run Girl', ‘Woodcutter Skank' and ‘Black Stick Rock'. In 1973, with Lloyd Daley, he recorded ‘Glitter Not Gold', relating the aphorism to everyday life in Jamaica.
