A major asset to underground dance music, Bill Brewster is a DJ, journalist, and occasional producer. He took up DJ'ing during the late '80s, later worked for DMC (Dance Mix Club), and eventually moved from his native England to New York to run the organization's U.S. division. He operated a handful of labels -- 5XO-294, Sugar Daddy, and the U.K. arm of Twisted -- throughout the latter half of the '90s.
