Birushannah

A unique player in the extreme metal world, Osaka, Japan's Birushanah mixed extreme technical and experimental sludge and doom sounds with traditional Japanese percussion and scale, developing a sound that was not dissimilar to fellow countrymen Corrupted. Formed in 2002, the group soon released its first single, Touta. It would take a while for Birushanah to release their first full-length, but the band could be found honing their chops on stages in Japan, Australia, and the hotbed of extreme metal, Europe.
