BK Rap is the alias of Roberto Bruno, a Puerto Rican singer, songwriter and producer of Urban Christian music. Bruno started out as a member of the island's budding rap scene, often collaborating with other pioneers such as DJ Playero or Vico C. However, Bruno decided to dedicate his life to Christ in 1991 and began to use his music to propagate his message. His first album of religious material, Mateo 7:8, appeared in 1992.
