Singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Jody Smith's music under the Black Nash moniker began to take shape after a five-year stint in the U.S. military. His enhanced focus on his music coincided with the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, and much of his exciting and upbeat self-titled 2021 debut was made in isolation as he reacclimated to civilian life.
