Biography
An experimental rock group out of Ireland, Bleeding Heart Pigeons construct brawny, melodic guitar-and-synth pieces that are rarely elementary in nature. Singer/guitarist Mícheál Keating, keyboardist/sampler Cathal Histon, and drummer Brendan McInerney formed the band in Limerick in 2008. On the strength of early material, the trio netted a record deal with Virgin Records in 2013, and the label gave a proper release to their debut EP, In a Room in Littleton, Colorado, in 2014.
