One of many projects associated with enigmatic British artist Dean Blunt, Blue Iverson is an excursion into smooth R&B and funk. The project's debut release, Hotep, was recorded in Los Angeles with several studio musicians, including guitarist Jeff Gitelman (of the Stepkids) as well as vocalists Jennah Bell and Akua. Blunt produced and mixed the release, in addition to playing guitar, drums, and keyboards.
