Combining the illustrative songwriting of Van Morrison and John Martyn with the pop hooks of Motown, Blue Rose Code (real name Ross Wilson) is a British singer/songwriter and alternative folk artist. Born and raised in Edinburgh by his grandmother, Wilson spent much of his youth skipping school to listen to records after having discovered the work of artists such as Chet Baker, John Coltrane, and Ray Charles.
