This five-piece blues band, all members of which were born in Scotland, was formed in the early 80s by Tim Elliott (harmonica/vocals) and John Bruce (guitar). After numerous personnel changes during their formative and semi-professional years, by the middle of the decade they settled into a hard driving and highly regarded band. In the mid-80s, Blues ‘N' Trouble toured as support band to some visitors from the USA, including Robert Cray, B.B. King, Charlie Musselwhite, Pinetop Perkins and Junior Wells.
