Blythe Gaissert

Mezzo-soprano Blythe Gaissert has established herself as a specialist in contemporary opera and concert music. She also has a wide repertory in traditional opera and vocal music and is a member of the classical-influenced alternative rock group The Knells. Gaissert was born on October 1, 1974, and grew up in Beaumont in east Texas, graduating from Monsignor Kelly High School there in 1992.
