Bob Amos is a folk and bluegrass musician who is equally skilled as a singer and songwriter, as a guitarist. He can even hold his own with a tin whistle and has on some of his recordings. In 1999, he finished work on a debut album, Wherever I go. He had a little help from some other artists on this first offering, including banjo picker Ron Stewart, guitarist Glen Zankey, bassists Bob Dick and Marshall Wilborn, drummer David McLaughlin, and mandolin player Chris Thile.
