Before first-ever Singapore Idol Taufik Batisah skyrocketed to solo fame, he was a member of the rap/R&B duo Bonafide, also featuring rapper Mark Bonafide. Born on July 1, 1979, and formerly known as Mark Subra, Bonafide is not only a rapper but also a singer, songwriter, and producer. In 2007 he scored a number one hit on the local music chart of Singapore with the club song "Later2night," produced by Don Richmond. ~ Jason Birchmeier
