Bong-Ra

Prolific Dutch musician Jason Köhnen uses the name Bong-Ra to fuse extreme sounds such as breakcore, black metal, and industrial. Debuting with the album New Millennium Dreadz in 1998, he pioneered the raggacore subgenre, an intense mutation of dancehall, jungle, and gabber. With further releases such as 2005's I Am the God of Hellfire and side projects like Glowstyx and Servants of the Apocalyptic Goat Rave, he combined oldskool rave with Satanic metal imagery.
