Biography
Experimental noise rock trio Boogie Boarder (bassist Willie Miesmer, drummer Cyrus Lubin, and keyboardist Paul Gladstone) were formed in a ceramics glaze room in 2004 at school in upstate New York. A D.I.Y. 2006 release with hand-printed covers titled What Riding Waves Is All About collected home-recorded sessions and was issued through Famous Class, which serves as a record label as well as an art collective co-founded by Lubin. It was followed in 2007 by Full Throttle. ~ Kenyon Hopkin
