Brave Giant

Irish indie folk band Brave Giant meld traditional Irish instrumentation with epic indie rock song structures. Mark Prunty (guitar, vocals) and Podge Gill (guitar, vocals) originally began as a two -piece called Dutch Courage in 2011. Two years on, they asked banjo and mandolin player Ross McNerny to join the band and changed their name to Poroma in the process. The following year saw two further additions in Emmet Collum (drums) and David Kilbride (bass), prompting yet another name change, this time to Brave Giant.
