Rapper Brian Fresco rose to fame as a member of the Chicago collective SaveMoney, which also featured artists like Chance the Rapper, Vic Mensa, and Towkio. Hailing from the Ida B. Wells and Harold Ickes projects in Chicago, Fresco first discovered music in fourth grade at the Beasley Academic Center.
