Nottingham-based bassline producer and MC Josh Bruce (aka Bru-C) rose through the ranks of the U.K. bass scene with effective use of collaborations and viral marketing. Born in 1991 in Long Eaton, Derbyshire, he began making music early on but found his feet after moving to Nottinghamshire. He originally signed to CruCast, where he would release his first two albums, 2019's Original Sounds and 2020's Smile.
