Bruses is the alias of Amalia Ramirez, an indie pop Mexican singer and songwriter born in Tijuana in 1998. In her early teens, she started writing songs as a way to cope with mental health issues, such as depression and anxiety. When she turned 18, she moved to Mexico City to study music at the Centro Universitario Fermatta.
