Solo experimental electronic pop artist Caroline Lufkin sings delicate vocal melodies over glitched IDM beats and dreamy, understated sound beds. Born in Okinawa, Japan, she was inspired to write songs by her older sister, Olivia, who had made a name for herself as a J-pop singer. In 2003, Caroline graduated from the Berklee School of Music in Boston and moved to Los Angeles to pursue music as a full-time career.
