Caroline Weeks

An experimental folk artist with a decidedly English flavor -- logical as she was based in Brighton, England -- Caroline Weeks had a planned 2008 release for her debut EP, Five Songs, but that had to be put back due to her commitment as a member of Bat for Lashes, who were opening up for a little band called Radiohead. In 2008, a debut album, Songs for Edna, was also planned. In the meantime, Weeks, who was signed to the Manimal Vinyl label, also kept up appearances with a handful of solo shows in the autumn of that year.
