The children's duo Cathy Fink & Marcy Marxer began recording together in the late '80s and, almost immediately, their blend of folk, blues, bluegrass, and pop -- coupled with creative, intelligent, and non-patronizing lyrics -- won them critical acclaim and devoted fans. Their 1997 lullaby collection Blanket Full of Dreams won awards from the American Library Association and publications like Parent's Choice and Early Childhood News, and received a Grammy Award nomination.
