b. 1978, Manchester, Jamaica, West Indies. Cecile released her first recording when she was just 15. Her initial foray into the music industry was met with indifference, although her follow-up, ‘Beat Of My Heart', recorded with Michael ‘Ibo' Cooper of Third World, introduced her to a wider audience. To establish her career she performed on the live circuit with notable appearances at the Cactus nightclub and at the Reggae Sunsplash Festival in 1998.
