Biography
Intricate Brooklyn-based indie trio Celestial Shore began as a recording project of singer/guitarist Sam Owens. After relocating to California to work an internship with Blue Microphones, Owens began recording the material that would eventually comprise the 2012 EP California Eden. Blending off-kilter jazz improvisations and math-y time signatures with classic '60s pop influences like the Zombies and Beach Boys, Owens turned to former Berklee School of Music pals bassist Greg Albert and drummer Max Almario to complete the band.
