A lyrical, emotive performer, Nashville-based singer/songwriter Chelsea Lankes makes electronic-based pop that balances indie and dance-oriented sensibilities. Raised in Fort Worth, Texas, Lankes grew up in a musical family with a mom who was a singer. However, it wasn't until college that she began writing her own songs in earnest.
