Louisville, Kentucky-based singer/songwriter Cheyenne Marie Mize crafts intelligent, atmospheric, soul-stirring indie folk music in the vein of Alela Diane, Bon Iver, and Cat Power. Raised in a musical household, she took up the violin in high school, studied music at the University of Louisville, and eventually became a music therapist.
