Chinese American Bear make offbeat, bilingual indie pop befitting their name. The married duo released their self-titled debut LP in 2022, following it with similarly playful and hooky releases such as 2024's Wah!!! and 2026's Dim Sum & Then Some. A native of China who immigrated to the U.S. as a child, Lingbo Anne Tong met Bryce Barsten while they were both attending the same high school in Spokane, Washington.
