Also known as the drummer for acclaimed indie rock outfit Grizzly Bear, experimental musician Christopher Bear brings a similar genre-blurring, mood-driven sensibility to his wistfully playful film and television scores. Following a string of five critically lauded albums, two of which landed in the Top Ten of the Billboard 200 (2009's Veckatimest and 2012's Shields), Grizzly Bear went on an indefinite hiatus, leaving a void that Bear filled primarily with a shift to screen composing.
