Christopher Parkes

Solo horn of the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra, Britain's Christopher Parkes is a leading European hornist with many solo appearances to his credit. He is also a composer and an educator. Parkes was born in Doncaster, South Yorkshire, England, in 1981. His father, Major Peter Parkes, was a noted conductor in the British brass band world and led the famed Black Dyke Mills Band to several of its championships.
