With a maximalist approach to sound and visuals, London's Clarence Clarity reflects and embodies the hyperstimulated world of the 21st century. After playing with several bands in the 2000s, he chose Clarence Clarity as his solo moniker after deciding that "clarity" was his mantra for this project and discovering the Internet meme Sudden Clarity Clarence (which pictures a young man having an epiphany in the middle of a rave).
