Biography
Sheila Bommakanti and Lelani LaGuardia introduced the dark and hazy sounds of goth rock/post-grunge outfit Cober in their native Seattle in 2000. Plucking from influences such as Metallica, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Babes in Toyland, and Radiohead, Cober made their debut with Crashpilot the same year. Club tours across the U.S. allowed Cober's moody, seductive rock style to take shape. Cober became a solo project for Bommakanti beginning in 2005. She released Eulogy the following year, and The Western Cutter arrived in 2009. ~ MacKenzie Wilson
