This US hard rock quintet was formed in 1982 by guitarist Mandy Meyer (b. Armand Meyer, 29 August 1960, Balcarres, Saskatchewan, Canada) and former Target vocalist Jimi Jamison. With the recruitment of Jack Holder (guitar), Tommy Keiser (bass) and Jeff Klaven (drums) they were soon signed by CBS Records. Their music, a fusion of the blues rock approach of Whitesnake and Bad Company and the heavier, power-metal style of Van Halen and Iron Maiden, was immediately impressive.
