Colin Currie Group

The Colin Currie Group is a 12-member chamber ensemble dedicated to performing the music of Steve Reich. Led by virtuoso percussionist Colin Currie, the ensemble has released several albums of Reich's compositions. Currie formed the CCG in 2006 for a performance of Reich's Drumming for the composer's 70th birthday celebration at the BBC Proms. Following its debut, the group toured extensively throughout Europe and Japan, and expanded its repertoire to include Sextet, Pulse, and others.
