In 1978, Mark Cloud (vocals, electric and acoustic guitars, dobro, mandolin, Appalachian dulcimer, keyboards) and Cheryl Cloud (songwriter, lead vocals, acoustic guitar) formed Common Ground, a folk-rock band featuring both traditional Celtic music and Cheryl's original songs.
