Craig McLachlan

b. 1 September 1965, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Craig McLachlan initially rose to prominence for his acting skills in Australian television soap opera Neighbours. However, after both Kylie Minogue and Jason Donovan had converted their thespian fame into a singing career, the same move seemed an obvious next step for McLachlan - particularly as he could actually play an instrument, the guitar.
