Genovese rapper Cromo began producing music in 2013 with fellow Italian rap artist Kalt. By 2015, he'd begun working with local label Studio Ostile and released his debut mixtape, OK-47. Around that same time, Cromo began working as a freestyler, performing around the country at shows and competing in a number of different contests.
