Based in Gravette, AR, Crow Johnson is a popular songwriter in the South and West. She edits the magazine Zassafrass Music News, and has sporadically released folk-jazz albums since the early 60's. Starting in the Houston coffee house circuit, she took the name Crow Johnson from her grandfather's Native American name and her ex-husband's last name.
