Cuatro DeOro

Cuatro De Oro is a Mexican regional group based in Phoenix, Arizona. The group was formed in 2022 by Iván Velarde (lead singer), Diógenes Bojórquez López (requinto, vocals), Esteban Salcedo (tuba), and Cesar Gutiérrez (double bass), four experienced musicians from the area joined by a common interest in the sierreño style. From the very outset, the group set up to revitalize the genre by fusing its traditional elements with contemporary sounds, for instance electronic beats and higher tempos.
