Dan Bigras is a French rock singer, songwriter, and musician from Quebec whose award-winning recording career was coupled with a successful television acting career. Born on December 23, 1958, in Montreal, Quebec, he made his album debut in 1990 with Ange Animal. His second album, Tue-Moi, was a breakout effort that won a Félix award for Rock Album of the Year at the 1992 Gala de l'ADISQ.
