Dan Nicholls

Dan Nicholls is a U.K.-based pianist, composer, producer, sound designer, multi-instrumentalist, and educator. His music exists at the crossroads of jazz, ambient electronica, vanguard classical music, and experimental abstraction, often employed in combinations. His compositions and strategized improvisational works explore the way music is perceived and experienced while simultaneously challenging paradigms of Western musical education.
