Dan Reeder, a distinctive and fiercely original outsider folk artist and painter, is known for his unique, often humorous and vulgar blend of blues, folk, gospel, and field hollers. His decidedly D.I.Y. approach, which includes making his instruments and using them to write and record his songs on a recording rig he built himself, has earned him a loyal cult following over the decades.
