Dan Rincon is best known as the drummer with California's psych-infused garage punk band Thee Oh Sees (aka Osees), but his musical passions run in more than one direction at once. As a solo artist, Rincon also records languid, minimal electronic compositions that most often filter the conventions of ambient music through vintage synthesizers, sometimes adding a hard-edged pulse to their no-frills melodies.
