Dana and Alden

A kind of indie-hipster version of the Brecker Brothers, brothers Dana & Alden are known for their wry, throwback style of fusion jazz and instrumental pop. It's a sound they debuted on 2023's Quiet Music for Young People and further explored on 2024's Coyote, You're My Star. Born in Eugene, Oregon, Dana and Alden McWayne were raised in a musical family with a father who introduced them to jazz and mother who sang in a choir.
