A dark Nordic folk project from Danish multi-instrumentalist and producer Mike Schæfer Olsen, Danheim's icy blend of Viking mythology and ambient Scandinavian folk music evokes the sonic heathenry of contemporaries like Wardruna and Hagalaz Runedance. Inspired by runic legends and Danish folklore, Olsen began to explore his heritage via song in the early 2000s.
