New York-born modern composer and clarinetist Daniel Goode has composed innovative works for clarinet in addition to ensemble and multimedia works. Goode first studied philosophy, then music under such modern composers as Henry Cowell and Pauline Oliveros. He was Rutgers University's Director of the Electronic Music Studio from 1971 to 1998.
