Daniele Pollini

Daniele Pollini is the son of the famed Italian pianist Maurizio Pollini, but he has emerged with talents of his own and an independent voice, taking up conducting as well as piano, and showing an interest in contemporary music. Daniele often performed duo piano music with his long-lived father. On his own, he has made several recordings; his recital Schubert, recorded with his father shortly before the latter's death, appeared on the Deutsche Grammophon label in 2024.
