Biography
Danny Glover is an award-winning actor, producer, and political activist. He is also a member of The Jazz Foundation of America's board of directors. While internationally known for his acting roles since appearing in 1979's Escape from Alcatraz, his portrayal of Nelson Mandela in the 1988 HBO film Mandela, and roles in Lonesome Dove, Fallen Angels, and Freedom Song, all received Emmy nominations.
