Danny Michel

A singer/songwriter and producer whose music reflects a variety of genres and styles – among them, '80s college rock, '90s alt-rock, adult contemporary pop, folk, and classical music -- Canada's Danny Michel emerged in 1997 with Before the World Was Round. His fifth album and MapleMusic debut, Tales from the Invisible Man, led to a nomination for New Artist of the Year at the 2004 Juno Awards. He returned to issuing albums independently before relocating to Belize in 2011 to work with Afro-Amerindian group the Garifuna Collective. The resulting Black Birds Are Dancing Over Me ...
